Bodywork Path
A spark ignited in me years ago when, on a whim, I attended a massage certification open house. The moment I walked in the door, I knew I wanted to learn and share bodywork as a way to open, heal and grow. The painful experience of living in mind-body disconnect spurred me to explore, study and practice how to truly facilitate integration and healing. Soon after completing the program, I grew a rewarding massage practice and discovered a love for teaching bodywork as well. While I enjoyed my practice, I often noticed issues within clients that lay beyond what massage could reach. I began to study and practice CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. This is where I learned to facilitate positive changes within the craniosacral system, the central nervous system, and thus all systems of the body with a light, yet effective, touch. My practice organically evolved away from massage as clients experienced significant shifts with the CranioSacral Therapy. With CST still at the root of Whole Body Therapy, the work continues to evolve and expand. I love working with people through their bodies--- it is a beautiful process I am invited to facilitate with grounded compassion and attuned touch. It's an honor and a joy to witness people like you move from pain to empowerment. |
