Bodywork Path For most of this life, I've been intently exploring the mind-body connection. In my mid-thirties, a quirky knee became the impetus to tentatively receive Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for the first time. After living in mind-body disconnect for years, CST created a space for opening, healing and profound changes on many levels. By the time I walked into a massage program open house a few years afterwards, I immediately knew I wanted to learn, and share, bodywork. Soon after completing the massage program, I began working with clients and developed a rewarding private practice. (2007-present)---- and discovered a love for teaching bodywork as an instructor at Cypress Health Institute (2010-2016). In my quest to deepen this always evolving work as body therapist, I began to study and practice CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute (2010-ongoing). This is where I learned to access the craniosacral system, the central nervous system, and thus all systems of the body. I’ve delved into immunology, neurological issues, pediatric wellness, and hospice care. As my knowledge and experience expands, I’m ever rooting into healing body therapy as a flow that emerges from the innate embodied wisdom within. Bodywork is not something I “do”, it is a beautiful process I am invited to witness and facilitate---- as each person moves towards grace and flow. With gratitude, it is my pleasure to do so. |
